Super Paint Remover DS1

Product details

Introduction to Paint Removal Technology – Remover Paint DS1

Remover Paint DS1 is a chemical solution designed to rapidly penetrate and remove paint coatings from metal surfaces such as steel, iron, cast iron, aluminum, zinc, and stainless steel. It effectively breaks down the adhesion between the coating and the metal substrate, enabling fast and thorough cleaning, thereby improving the efficiency of painting lines.

Remover Paint DS1 is capable of removing a wide range of coatings, including oil-based paints, water-based paints, powder coatings, urethane paints, epoxy coatings, etc., and is widely applied in various industries.

Advantages of Remover Paint DS1

  • Fast stripping speed
  • Increased productivity
  • Cost optimization
  • Suitable for multiple coating technologies: wet paint, powder coating, electrostatic coating, and electrophoretic coating

General Properties

  • Appearance: Slightly cloudy liquid
  • Solubility: Poorly soluble in water, volatile
  • Storage temperature: Store at room temperature (16–32°C), away from direct sunlight, heat sources, sparks, and metals

Equipment and Instructions for Use

To minimize chemical loss due to evaporation, the stripping tank should be equipped with a tightly closed lid. The pump inlet should be positioned at least 30 cm (12 inches) above the bottom of the tank to minimize foam formation.

Paint stripping is a process prone to contamination; therefore, a filtration system should be used to remove solid paint residues and extend the service life of the solution. Manual removal using a skimmer is also applicable.

Operating procedure:

  • Prepare a soaking tank with a tight cover. Fill the tank with Remover Paint DS1 (use undiluted, do not dilute).
  • Immerse the basket containing the jigs into the tank.
  • Stripping time depends on operating conditions, paint type, coating thickness, and part geometry:
Coating Thickness Time
<100µm 5 phút
100-1000µm 30-60 phút
>1000µm 3-5 giờ
  • After completion, lift the parts and allow excess solution to drain back into the tank. To reduce chemical loss, rinse using a mist spray above the tank, followed by rinsing in a clean water tank with aeration and overflow.

Alternative rinsing method:
Rinse with clean water using automatic or manual spray over an empty tank. This method helps reduce wastewater volume.
Note: Rinse water can be reused to compensate for solution loss in the stripping tank.

Safety and Storage

  • Avoid direct contact with the solution
  • Use appropriate PPE (goggles, rubber gloves, masks, protective clothing, etc.)
  • Use in well-ventilated areas or with exhaust systems
  • Wastewater must be treated in accordance with current regulations
